Key Information
Harcourt Primary School was inspected by OFSTED in February 2026. This was our first inspection since single word judgements ceased. OFSTED found our school to be achieving the expected standard in all areas of the inspection framework and achieving the strong standard for inclusion. To find our more please look at our OFSTED inspection page of the website.
At Harcourt Primary School, pupils are valued as individuals, and we place great emphasis on an holistic approach to education and on teaching the whole child. The learning opportunities we provide are age-appropriate and challenging-within a calm and focused learning environment. We encourage all children to become independent thinkers and lifelong learners.
We are committed to working closely with parents and carers and the local community to promote and provide family learning opportunities and social activities. Many families take advantage of the numerous formal and informal occasions on offer, thus enhancing the home-school relationship.
“Pupils are happy to come to Harcourt School. They enjoy learning in a calm and purposeful atmosphere without fear of bullying or discrimination. Pupils are polite and friendly and happy to give each other a helping hand.”
