Year 5 had an absolutely brilliant day out in London, exploring the city from the land, river, and sky! We kicked things off with a ride on the London Eye — the views were incredible, and lots of us were very proud to conquer our fear of heights. Then we hopped on a Thames River Cruise and enjoyed spotting all the famous landmarks along the way. Travelling around the big city was so exciting, and we even had people comment on how polite and well-behaved we all were! The trip also helped us imagine what it might have been like for the characters in our class text - The Boy at the Back of the Classroom - as they travelled through London. It was such a fun day and one we’ll remember for a long time.
